SHOULD I ATTEND THE HOME INSPECTION?

Absolutely!!  This is an excellent way to learn about the property.  The inspector can review the inspection report and answer any questions you may have.  However, if you cannot attend the inspection, do not panic.  We will be glad to review the inspection report with you via phone or email.

 

When should I schedule a home inspection?  

Your inspection should be scheduled as soon as possible after you enter into a contract to buy a home and your option period (usually 5 - 10 days) begins.  Once you receive your detailed inspection report, complete with photos, illustrations, and inspector comments the same day as the inspection, you can review the report and have the peace of mind knowing about the condition of the home you are planning to purchase.  Your Realtor, and/or myself, will be glad to go over the report with you to make sure you completely understand its findings.

 

How much does a home inspection cost?

INSPECTION AGREEMENTS

Prior to a home inspection, the home inspector will have the client review and sign the Pre-Inspection Agreement.
